Affairs of the associations in the Bad Godesberg district

Overview

More than 100 clubs and associations as well as around 30 sports clubs offer a wide range of leisure activities not only for the citizens of Bad Godesberg. Anyone who wants to take part in sport, sing in a choir or play a musical instrument, or be active in the preservation of customs or carnival, will find something to suit them in the wide range of clubs on offer. In some districts, the local committees coordinate the work of the clubs. You can also find a list of all sports clubs in the club directory.

The Bad Godesberg district administration office is responsible for matters relating to clubs in the district, for example grants in accordance with the guidelines for clubs and other associations.

The guidelines according to which Bad Godesberg clubs and other associations can apply for grants from the Bad Godesberg district administration office can be found in this document under "Forms and links".

You can use the online form under "Forms and links" for your grant application.

State program "Neustart Miteinander"

The state of NRW has decided to set up the state program "Neustart miteinander" at short notice. This is intended to support the work of associations and provide them with financial support for organizing public events in compliance with the applicable corona protection regulations. A total of 54 million euros is available to support volunteer-run public events.

Each registered association can apply for a one-off grant amounting to 50% of the total eligible expenditure for an event in 2021, up to a maximum of EUR 5,000. The amount of funding is based on the total eligible expenditure for the event. The application itself is submitted online by the respective association to the relevant regional district government.

A prerequisite for the application is a confirmation from the municipality regarding the planned event. The contact for this in Bonn is the  Event Coordination (opens in a new tab)Office at the Citizens' Office.

Further information on this state program can be found on the website of the Ministry of Homeland, Municipal Affairs, Building and Gender Equality (see Forms and links).
