Playgrounds are places where people meet and spend their free time and are therefore of great importance for living together in residential areas. Children, parents and interested residents are regularly involved in the design and equipment of public playgrounds in Bonn.
Participation procedures are carried out by the City of Bonn's Children and Youth Officer whenever a new playground is to be built or an existing playground is to be redesigned.
