To help parents guide their children safely and responsibly through the digital world, we offer a free series of events called "MedienKompetent". The series is aimed at parents who want to find out about current digital topics and learn practical skills in dealing with media.

In traditional parents' evenings and interactive parent-child events, parents receive valuable tips and practical knowledge on how to actively shape media education in the family. Parents have the opportunity to learn, discover and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.

Each event deals with a separate topic, so you can participate flexibly and attend the events independently of each other. No previous knowledge is required.

All events are free of charge - we look forward to your participation!

The series of events takes place in cooperation with the Counseling Center for Parents, Children and Young People of the City of Bonn, the Catholic Youth Agency Bonn, the Media Center Bonn of the City of Bonn, the sk stiftung jugend und medien of Sparkasse KölnBonn, the Youth Media Academy of the Evangelisches Jugendwerk Sieg Rhein Bonn, barrierefrei kommunizieren! Bonn and the Media Education Advisory Service of the City of Bonn.

The Media Education Advisory Service of the Office for Children, Youth and Family of the City of Bonn offers professionals and volunteers a series of media education workshops that deal with a variety of exciting topics and practical tools for everyday educational work.

The dates do not build on each other thematically and can be booked individually.

The series of events is aimed at educational professionals and volunteers in youth work. Other interested parties are also welcome.

No previous knowledge is required and participation in the events is free of charge.
