The AK Medien in Bonn is an association of stakeholders from the City of Bonn (Office for Children, Youth and Family, Education Department, City Library), foundations, independent youth welfare organizations, Bonn police, projects and other institutions involved in media education work. New offers are created in joint projects (e.g. the "MedienKompetent" series of events for parents) in order to strengthen the media education landscape in Bonn.

The project is led by the Media Education Advisory Service of the Office for Children, Youth and Family of the City of Bonn. The meetings take place four times a year.
