Masks compulsory in certain areas of the City

At certain times, the obligation to wear a mouth-nose covering continues to apply in the pedestrian zones of Bonn and Bad Godesberg as well as in the shopping streets of Beuel and Duisdorf. An overview with map can be found here.

Mandatory wearing of masks in pedestrian zones and shopping streets (mouth-nose covering)

With another general decree dated June 4, 2021, the City of Bonn has extended the mask requirement in the pedestrian zones of Bonn and Bad Godesberg and the shopping streets in Beuel and Hardtberg until June 24. 

Special rules apply to the following areas - here the duty applies daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (red areas in the following map):

City district of Bonn: 

At the central station (in the area from Thomas-Mann-Strasse to Kaiserplatz 7),
Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz (in the area between Kölnstraße and Sandkaule house numbers 1 to 25 and 2 to 16)

City district Beuel:

Konrad-Adenauer-Platz

The duty applies in the following areas on working days from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m (yellow areas in the map):

Everyone who is on foot in the above-mentioned areas must wear a mask. The city draws attention to the mask obligation with several hundred posters in the pedestrian zones and shopping streets.
