The Bonn SDG Days will start in a sporty way - with the #ZeroHungerRun of Welthungerhilfe, which is turning 60 this year. Together with Welthungerhilfe Secretary General Mathias Mogge, Mayor Katja Dörner, who acts as patron of the run and will also give the starting signal, is calling on all Bonn citizens to get going and join the run at Rheinaue Park on Sunday, September 25. The charity event is dedicated to a world without hunger, as called for by the United Nations' second Sustainable Development Goal. The City and the Bonn-based UN SDG Action Campaign are cooperation partners of the charity run, which takes place exactly on the seventh anniversary of the adoption of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Like in previous years, the UN SDG Action Campaign has called for participation in the Global Week to Act4SDGs and developed the #FliptheScript campaign to mark the occasion. September 25 marks the culmination of the action week and the #ZeroHungerRun is part of a series of global high-profile #FliptheScript actions on that day to advocate for a better world and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Symbolically, runners of the #ZeroHungerRun will turn a banner with the inscription "hunger" into "zero hunger" before the start, referring to SDG No. 2.
In addition to the #ZeroHungerRun, the City of Bonn and Welthungerhilfe invite to an online talk on Thursday, September 29, at 6:30 p.m. entitled "Gut(es) Essen für alle. Wie schaffen wir das gemeinsam?" Guests from the fields of nutrition, sports and development cooperation will discuss how good nutrition and agriculture can be secured worldwide.
17 Goals Zone at Friedrichstrasse
With its colorful umbrella roof in the colors of the Sustainable Development Goals, Friedrichstrasse will once again become the 17 Goals Zone for 17 days, from Sunday, September 25, to Tuesday, October 11. The Sustainable Development Goals will be brought to the city center and information will be provided about their global and local significance and implementation. In cooperation with the One World Promoter for Bonn and southern NRW as well as with the Bonn Network for Development, the Department of International Affairs and Global Sustainability of the City of Bonn aims to raise awareness for sustainability and the SDGs, inviting visitors to get involved with a variety of offers.

SDG Pub Quiz in German and English
The SDG pub quiz is also back in the program: The initiative of scientists "Scientists4Future" will host a pub quiz on Thursday, September 29, at 8 p.m. at Fiddlers, Frongasse 9, on climate protection measures as required by Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13.
Before that, there will be an English edition of the SDG pub quiz for all internationally interested Bonn residents on Tuesday, September 27, at 8 p.m. at John Barleycorn (formerly Bierhaus Machold, Heerstraße 52).
The action days will conclude on Tuesday, October 11, with an evening of storytelling, dance and music from Ghana at Haus Migrapolis, Brüdergasse 16 to 18.
