Corona vaccination bus stands at the "Klangwelle" on 16 October

The Federal City of Bonn continues to offer numerous open Corona vaccination events. Without an appointment, anyone 12 years of age or older can be vaccinated against the corona virus. Since mid-July, 10,850 immunizations have been conducted during these offerings in city districts and neighborhoods.

Vaccines are offered by Johnson and Johnson (one-time vaccination) and Biontech (second vaccination about three weeks later at a general practitioner's office or, if necessary, at one of the mobile vaccination campaigns), and only by Biontech for persons between 12 and 18 years of age. For children and adolescents between the ages of 12 and 15, the consent of a custodial person is sufficient, and a custodial person must be present for the vaccination. Here are the other dates:

  • Saturday, Oct. 16, vaccination bus at "Klangwelle" event at Post Tower, 2 Charles De Gaulles St., 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 18, foyer of the town hall, Berliner Platz 2, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 19, "Suppenhimmel," Am Fronhof 17, 2 to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 20, Beuel City Hall (Council Chamber, second floor), Friedrich-Breuer-Strasse 65, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 21, foyer of the Stadthaus, Berliner Platz 2, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Monday, October 25, foyer of the Stadthaus, Berliner Platz 2, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 28, foyer of the Stadthaus, Berliner Platz 2, 1 to 7 p.m.

Incidence value 32.4

Already for a good week the Corona 7-day incidence related to 100,000 inhabitants*innen ranges between 38 and 31. On Thursday, October 14, the incidence value is 32.4. 107 new infections have been reported to the health department in the past seven days. Currently, there are 218 Covid 19 cases, and 307 people are in quarantine.

As of Thursday, October 14, 37 people from Bonn and the surrounding area who have contracted Covid-19 are in Bonn hospitals. 21 people are being cared for in normal wards, 16 are in intensive care units, and 10 of them require ventilation.

Between Sept. 27 and Oct. 3, of 176 Covid-19 cases, there were 94 cases with variant virus. This represents a rate of 53.41 percent. All of these were delta variant.

As of Wednesday, October 13, the health department registered a total of 5,946 cases of coronavirus mutations since January 28, 2021: alpha variant 3,812 times, beta variant 47 times, gamma variant 2 times, and delta variant 2,085 times). Currently, there are 218 cases with detected delta variant in quarantine.
