Initial checks by the city's public order service have shown that the vast majority of citizens behave sensibly and observe the obligation to wear masks in pedestrian zones and shopping streets. If masks were missing, it was mostly because not all passers-by had been made aware of the mandatory masks in force since Saturday. In these cases, the city planning department pointed out that mouth and nose cover must be worn.
Also in the coming days the mask obligation will be controlled randomly. Who offends against it, must count on a fine of 50 euro.
In the affected areas, several hundred posters point out that masks are mandatory. In addition, from Tuesday, October 20, a bicycle campaign will draw attention to the wearing of everyday masks and compliance with the minimum distance of 1.5 meters. Two bicycles with corresponding large-format posters will be on the road for a week in pedestrian zones and shopping streets, among other places.

Physical education after the autumn vacations
The municipal sports facilities have been inspected in recent weeks. In most cases, they are equipped with a ventilation system and/or the possibility of cross-ventilation. After the autumn vacations, sports lessons can be held in these halls in accordance with the "Instructions and recommendations for infection control in schools in connection with Covid-19" issued by the MSB.
