Corona: Successful vaccination campaign in Dransdorf

At the open vaccination campaign for protection against the coronavirus in the Dransdorf district association on Monday, August 2, 2021, 221 people were vaccinated. The open vaccination campaigns are aimed in particular at the people in the respective neighborhood, but are open to all citizens*. People 18 years and older can be vaccinated with the Johnson and Johnson vaccine (one-time vaccination). Persons 16 years and older with the vaccine from Biontech; they need written parental consent. In these cases, the second vaccination will take place approximately four weeks later.

Persons who wish to be vaccinated are asked to bring their identity card and vaccination certificate, if available. Vaccination records will be filled out on site. People without papers can also be vaccinated without red tape at the mobile vaccination campaigns in the city districts.

As before, people aged 16 and over can also get vaccinated without an appointment at the Bonn Vaccination Center in the World Conference Center, which is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. Initial vaccinations with Biontech will be offered up to and including Thursday, August 12. After that, initial vaccinations will only be available with Johnson and Johnson, as the Vaccination Center will only be open through Thursday, Sept. 2.

To reduce wait times at the Immunization Center, the consent and medical history forms should be filled out already, if possible, and brought in duplicate. These are available for download on the Robert Koch Institute website and at  www.bonn.de/impfen (opens in a new tab).

In the meantime, 234,124 first vaccinations and 190,583 second vaccinations against the coronavirus have been carried out in Bonn (as of August 3, 2021).
