On June 20, 2023, the German Government made a formal announcement regarding the establishment of the UNAIDS office in Bonn. This marks an important milestone in the ongoing fruitful partnership between UNAIDS and Germany, aligned with their shared vision of ending AIDS by 2030.

Bonn’s annual SDG Days will take place from September 10 to October 1 this year, as Bonn's traditional contribution to the German Action Days on Sustainability and the Global Week to #Act4SDGs.
