Wissenschaftzentrum Bonn was founded by Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (Association for the Promotion of Science and Humanities) an organization of German industry to fund research and development. Wissenschaftszentrum is a centre for dialogue - a forum where research and education, health, climate change and sustainability or international policy are topics on the agenda of national and international conferences and meetings.
Also for us as a conference venue sustainability is one of our major concerns. Wissenschaftszentrum Bonn was named "Partner of Sustainable Bonn” for its sustainability policy in the fields of energy, water and recycling.
