The umbrella organisation VENRO is an association of non-governmental organizations in Germany. The association was founded in 1995 and has 114 members at this time. Member organizations are active in the fields of private and religious development cooperation, humanitarian aid, development-oriented education, public relations and lobbying.
VENRO’s central aim is to make globalization fair for all, especially by overcoming poverty worldwide. The association advocates the implementation of human rights and the conservation of natural resources.
