Right Livelihood College

The Right Livelihood College (RLC) is a global capacity building initiative of the Right Livelihood Award, widely known as ‘Alternative Nobel Prize’, and universities worldwide. The RLC promotes exchange and creates synergies between the work of the ‘Alternative Nobel Prize’ Laureates, applied research and education, and civil society worldwide. The RLC is structured as a global network with 10 campuses and centres in Argentina, Chile, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, USA and Bonn, Germany. The RLC Campus in Bonn was inaugurated in 2011. It is hosted by the Center for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn and is financed by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Since 2014 also the Global Secretariat of the RLC is based at ZEF in Bonn.
