Peace and Development Working Group (FriEnt)

The Working Group on Peace and Development (FriEnt) is an association of governmental organizations, church aid agencies, civil society networks and political foundations.

FriEnt's aim is to pool expertise, promote networking and cooperation and contribute to conflict-sensitive development cooperation. Together, the members of the working group want to promote the diverse approaches and potentials of development peace work in politics and the public.

They differ, however, in their size, in their mandate, in their partner field abroad and in their project or work approaches. They want to use these diverse perspectives and experiences for a joint and productive discussion of the issues of peace and development.
