The Katholische Auslandssekretariat of the German Bishops Conference offers pastoral care for German-speaking Catholics abroad. It was established in 1921 and originally founded to provide spiritual guidance for German emigrants, whereas it now focuses on a number of other groups as well, such as tourists or German expatriates abroad.
