Studies and research of the Institute for Food and Resource Economics of the Agricultural Faculty of the University of Bonn include the following fields related to developing countries: quantitative consultancy in agricultural politics; development of agricultural sector models; development sociology, sustainable development, biodiversity, food security, world agricultural trade. The institute co-organizes the two years post graduate study course ARTS ("Agricultural science and resources management in tropical and subtropical zones”).
