The German Institute for Adult Education - Leibniz Centre for Lifelong Learning (DIE) is a central forum in the fields of research and practice of continuing education in Germany.
The DIE is an extramural research institute as well as an infrastructural institution which serves as a competent service partner for all institutions in the field of adult education and lifelong learning. The institute’s research activities contribute to the development and networking in adult education on a national and international scale.
