The catholic country youth movement Germany (KLJB) is one of the largest catholic youth associations and a recognised sponsor of independent youth welfare. KLJB works in all Germany, and as a member of the international country and farm youth movements (MIJARC) also within its European and international organs. KLJB promotes the foundation of youth associations in rural regions of developing countries.
It exists as a representative of the multifaceted interests and needs of young country people and acts as a lobbyist for the shaping of rural areas. Besides the international solidarity, the activities focus on ecology and a sustainable rural development.
