As part of the Association of American German Business Clubs e.V., the AGBC Bonn e.V. is a private, non-profit and international society for the promotion of transatlantic contacts and relations in the Cologne-Bonn area. The focus of the society is on Europe-USA, but there are no restrictions regarding country of origin or nationality for membership.

The society organizes regular meetings at which lectures are held in English and thus covers a broad spectrum of current topics from the fields of business, politics, science, culture and society.

The AGBC Bonn e.V. offers a forum for the discussion of national and international economic relations and ideas. The AGBC supports free trade, the exchange of ideas and personal interaction between representatives of companies in Germany and America in an informal atmosphere.
