The programme
- "With your head in the wind and your pockets full of earth"
- A musical-theatrical foray through Bonn's city centre
Nature is a place of retreat and recreation for people, feelings of home and security are associated with it. However, our behaviour towards it demonstrates our power of disposal and will to dominate. What would happen if people could (once again) see themselves as part of nature, if they could experience how everything is connected to everything else?
The Bonn fringe ensemble is known for opening up new perspectives for its audiences with special artistic formats and in unusual locations. Now it is devoting itself to the question of the relationship between man and nature and inviting audiences to Bonn's city centre. The city centre will become a space for performances, installations, musical and sonic wayfarers and interventions of all kinds.
An ensemble of more than 60 artists and Bonn citizens will create a polyphonic and multi-faceted image, which in its overall composition will cover the city centre like a web of speech, song and sound.
The elaborate project, which guarantees extraordinary experiences, exciting texts and surprising encounters, will take place exclusively on these two days at the Beethovenfest Bonn.
- A production of the fringe ensemble in co-operation with the Beethovenfest Bonn.
- Supported by Knauber.
